Change is not only good; it’s very necessary.  Show me someone who refuses to change and I’ll show you someone who isn’t interested in growing.  You’re here, so I know you are open to change.  Work with me and let’s grow together!

Change is good and necessary! We have lost too many women, men, boys, and girls to violence.  The purpose of this website is to demonstrate how important it is to eliminate violence starting with that which is closest to us, ourself, our home, our community, and beyond.

The foundation of our work begins within us, understanding that, “Change first begins with me.” This website highlights youth and family we have lost to violence and honors ways in which we come together as a community to support each other. As a beacon of hope and instruments of change, we will take a stand against violence and the systems that perpetuates it.  This website seeks to engage the reader to ACTION.

Addressing the issue of violence will take all of us, ignoring violence is not an option. If you see something, say something, if possible do something starting at home, then within the community.  Each person we have lost was somebody special, and if we do nothing, if we say nothing violence may soon find its ugly head knocking at our door.

The beauty about community is we are not alone. The heavy lifting can be shared.  We are making a difference in our community and the society which we live. Get Involved.
